As the twenty first century draws to an in depth, it's fascinating to look again at the movies that have defined our technology by way of cinematic excellence. But few films have created iconic movie scenes that will dwell on perpetually within the hearts and minds of film fans.

1. The opening scene of Up (2009)
This scene is a masterful mix of visuals, music and sound. We follow the story of Carl, his spouse Ellie and their life collectively by way of a collection of coronary heart-wrenching images, culminating in Ellie's dying at the top.
2. Harry’s Escape from Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)
Harry Potter has been part of our technology and everyone rooted for Harry every step of the best way. When he takes on Voldemort, we all hold our breath in anticipation. Harry leaps off the edge of the tower and takes to the sky, free from Voldemort’s grip. It's an incredibly highly effective second.
3. Neo vs. Smith within the Matrix (1999)

This scene is an excellent example of how highly effective films can be. We're shown the melting of two oceans as Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are inexorably drawn together on a snowy beach, in a moment that captures each finality and hope.
7. The Dance Sequence in Shaun of the Dead (2004)
The zombie apocalypse is at all times a good time to inject a humorous moment and Edgar Wright deliverred this perfectly in Shaun of the Dead. As Shaun and the gang make their approach to security, they dance in front of an army of zombies. It's a thrilling and surreal moment that remains to be a joy to observe.
8. The ultimate Fight Scene in Spiderman 2 (2004)
Spiderman 2 is the definitive chapter of this franchise, and the ultimate fight scene is worthy of the best motion movie. It involves two helicopters and Spiderman should topple each of them so as to save the day.
9. The final Scene in the dark Knight (2008)
We should always remember what a masterful movie The Dark Knight was. Every scene stands alone as a tense and exciting scene, but nothing may very well be more highly effective than Batman’s treatment of the Joker in the finale. A true traditional.
